Course Outline
Communication Skills Aural and oral: greetings, advertisements, numbers, idiomatic expressions for university, family, food, travel, work. Increasing fluency and vocabulary acquisition. Knowledge Building: reading, writing expressions, sentences, paragraphs. Some useful elements of grammar as necessary: articles, verb tenses, negatives, interrogatives, adjectives, prepositions and partitives in the context of usage. Diversity and Culture: life and culture of the French-speaking world: geographical locations and cultural practices in global francophone world such as Tahiti, Switzerland, and Haiti.
