This is the first course in the study of Respiratory Pathophysiology focusing on diseases affecting the cardiopulmonary system. This course covers basic principles of pathology focusing on Obstructive Lung disorders. This is the first of six courses focusing on diseases affecting the cardiopulmonary system. Students review basic principles of pathology and focusing on Obstructive Lung disorders.

Differentiate common obstructive respiratory diseases, such as emphysema, chronic bronchitis, asthma, and bronchiectasis based on history, presentation and diagnostic evaluations.
