NRSG 122 - Psychosocial Issues in Nursing 1: Geropsych and End of Life Care

This course focuses on psychological nursing care of the older adult. Concepts include cognition, stress & coping, as well as grief and loss. Students will explore ways to understand and help older persons and their families maintain well-being, overcome problems, and achieve maximum potential during later life. This course will also approach emotional, mental, ethical, and legal considerations in providing end-of-life care.
