NRSG 236 - Clinical Practicum: Preceptorship5 Credits
This course provides a structured period of transition guided by a preceptor to help the student observe and experience the nursing role through “hands on” participation in a patient care setting. Opportunities are embedded to develop knowledge, skills, and attitudes around teamwork/collaboration and person-centered care. To enhance clinical judgment, the student will reflect upon the care they provide and consider opportunities for quality improvement. The student can expect to utilize technology and information management to provide safe and effective patient care.
