RC 239 - Respiratory Care Simulation III1 Credits This course is designed to provide simulated clinical experiences for learners based on their level of learning in the Respiratory Care program. Each quarter students will work in the simulation lab practicing tools and techniques on simulated patients. The course is designed to both prepare students for clinical experience as well as help them integrate theory into practice in a safe environment. In this quarter Students will integrate prior skills in patient assessment, treatment and data gathering to provide care to more complex patients. Students may be presented more complicated diagnostic information along with more complicated patient histories. We continue to build on themes from prior quarters in the setting of acute care, including more emergent clinical problems and interdisciplinary simulation.
