Student Learning Outcomes
Define and list the normal adult values for the various pulmonary function parameters.

List and describe the various pulmonary function tests for lung volume and capacity studies.

Interpret the pulmonary function results as they relate to the abnormality present including obstructive disease, restrictive disease, combined obstructive/restrictive disease, or diffusion defects.

Interpret polysomnographic tests and recognize sleep disordered patterns

Recognized the impact of pulmonary disease on exercise tolerance.

Describe and apply the various specialized pulmonary function tests to appropriate patient situations.

Identify the correct calibration techniques and apply these quality control procedures to pulmonary function  and sleep laboratory.

Describe the operation of pulmonary function and polysomnography equipment
