CIS 310 - Database Installation & Configuration Management

This course provides a comprehensive foundation in the installation, configuration and administration of popular database management systems (DBMS). Students will perform hands-on installation, configuration, access control in DBMS. This course also covers database design, implementation, data manipulation across various DBMS platforms using SQL and NoSQL query languages. Students will identify the database vulnerabilities and best practices to secure DBMS.
