ASL& 121 - American Sign Language I 5 Credits ASL& 121 is a comprehensive beginning course in American Sign Language, which includes instruction and practice in expressive and receptive language skills and an introduction to the culture and history of the primary users of the language.

Student Learning Outcomes Students demonstrate an expressive (manual) proficiency in ASL with emphases on clear articulation of the parameters of signs.
