ABE 040 - High School English 2 5 Credits In High School English 2 students read, analyze, and write about literature. Learning focuses on close reading as well as the study of how various literary elements and techniques function within a text. Students will practice making and supporting inferences, character analysis, identifying figurative language and summarization. Students use expository writing to display their reading comprehension. This course is equivalent to a 10th grade high school English course and fulfills the requirement for one high school English credit.
