                | ABE 073 - ABE High School World Language 25 CreditsThe High School World Language courses equip students to communicate effectively across multiple cultures. Students develop reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills as well as awareness of the global application of the chosen language. A communicative approach to language learning allows students to use the target language in interpersonal speaking and writing, and interpretive reading and listening. Level 2 students build on the basics learned in level 1. Students apply higher-level grammar skills to writing tasks. This course fulfills the requirement for a second-level world language class and one high school credit.

 Course Outline
 Level 2 students build increasing fluency practicing in subjects such as cities and neighborhoods, television, time, weather, purchasing, quantities, and money. Students work with increasingly complex reading and writing.
