  • Learning how to search for stories; information gathering.
  • Writing and rewriting stories.
  • Developing story ideas and important sources.
  • Understanding freedom of the press, libel, and other legalities, and ethics.
  • Finding and dealing with experts and/or credible sources.
  • Double and re-double checking accuracy.
