OPTIC 109 - Program Overview, Exam Preparation5 Credits Preparation for Washington state practical exam for opticians with a review of all eight courses. Includes a basic, beginning understanding of refracting techniques as used in the ophthalmic office. Previous experience with slit lamp, radiuscope, keratometer, lensometer, contacts and edger recommended. This is not a beginning level class.

Familiarize with refraction, visual acuity assessments, color vision, and sterioopsis testing.
