ENGL& 112 - Introduction to Fiction5 Credits Students read and discuss five to seven novels, generally organized around a theme. Novels may be classic or contemporary. Course covers formal elements (such as characterization, plot, structure, setting and theme), provides a brief overview of the history and evolution of the novel and examines the social and cultural value of novels.
