NURS 112 - Practicum II: Alterations in Wellness

5 Credits
This course expands upon the practice of clinical skills and assessments in a patient care environment. Opportunities for participation in the care of clients across the lifespan are provided that correlate with the concepts of assessment, communication, and care & comfort. The course provides the continued opportunity to apply clinical skills in a simulated clinical environment with opportunities for participation in the care of clients across the lifespan, with a focus on geriatric clients. Students will practice the application of various nursing skills as they prepare to safely care for patients in a controlled and supported environment.
