HSER 401 - Theoretical Foundations of Youth Development5 Credits Addresses the importance of theory in guiding the process of positive youth development. Following a brief historical perspective, the course focuses on the analysis and application of the most current, effective, and tested approaches. Emphasis is on the understanding and integration of current conceptual approaches, the forces that impact the field, and the increasing professionalization of the field of youth development.
