HSER 430 - Leadership and Supervision5 Credits Many people believe that strong leaders are born, not made. Moreover, we tend to think that leadership is only for a few unique people who are charismatic, visionary, and possess extraordinary skills. The reality, though, is that anyone can be a leader. Leadership goes beyond a formal title and is available to all who desire to make a difference in their organizations and in their communities. This course will focus on helping students develop the skills and behaviors that are fundamental to effective leadership.
