Introduction to Web Support

Learning Outcomes


  • Demonstrate ability to use imaging software and to create commercial art images.
  • Design and construct basic web sites using markup languages and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets).
  • Correctly use components of Microsoft Office programs to create professional and academic documents.
  • Demonstrate using the keyboard by touch, using correct fingering on letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • Prepare an effective resume and cover letter, learn and practice interview techniques, and locate an internship in the public or private sector.

  • Students must achieve a cumulative 2.0 GPA and a minimum 2.0 GPA in each core course to attain a certificate.
