Interested in a rewarding career that makes a difference? Accounting is the language of business and is used to explain the financial results of companies that range from small business to Fortune 500 companies in size. The Bookkeeping Certificate emphasizes practical skills in the accounting field. Students completing the certificate are employable as AP, AR or payroll clerks for entry level positions. With courses offered in the evenings, on the weekend, and online, the program meets the needs of individuals who are working professionals and future students.

Prerequisites
Some or all of the following are required. Check with a faculty adviser. - Keyboarding and 10-key numeric pad skills.

Program Outcomes
- Students will accurately analyze and record general accounting and payroll transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
