Highline College’s Information Systems Project Coordinator program prepares the student for an entry level position as a supervisory/project manager in the Software field. Project Coordinators provide day-to-day administration of projects and ensure that services or products are delivered in a timely, cost effective, and qualitative manner. Students should currently be working in or have supervisory/managerial skills gained in a commercial environment. The program will equip students with the tools and skills required in becoming a proficient Project Coordinator of IT projects.

Program Outcomes


  • Demonstrate knowledge of the language syntax, semantics and constructs used to develop a software program.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of a variety of problemsolving techniques used to analyze the business problem and create a software solution.
  • Create ethically sound computer programs that empower the users while protecting their privacy.
  • Communicate effectively with others to discuss requirements and analyze, design and implement business solutions.
