This certificate helps you start your career in Early Childhood Education; this course enables you to learn how to manage a family childcare program. Topics include: licensing requirements, record-keeping, relationship-building, communication strategies, guiding behavior, and promoting growth and development.

- Build foundation for explaining how children develop in all domains, conception through early adolescence.
- Examine the requirements for and management of a licensed family home child care program.
This certificate includes outcomes for the State Early Childhood Initial certificate. Program Notes
- Not all classes are offered every quarter. Talk to a faculty adviser.
- You have to earn a grade of 2.0 in each required class to apply it to a certificate or degree
- Education coursework older than 5 years may not apply. General education credits will be accepted regardless of age.
