Program Outcomes


  • Analyze a marketing plan for viability and model the process of planning, researching, preparing and implementing.
  • Design collaborative communication plans that provide clear positioning, product details, pricing and branding.
  • Demonstrate basic marketing principles and organizational priorities to make decisions about integrated marketing communications and implementation.
  • Collaborate in teams to develop to create basic approaches for attracting and communicating with customers through mobile devices, websites, social media, email, online advertising, SEO strategies, direct mail, events and public relations

  • This certificate emphasizes preparation in specific job skills required for entry-level employment and directly applies to the Small Business/Entrepreneurship AAS Degree; it also satisfies transfer interest in a marketing focus through the Associate of Arts (AA-DTA), Option A’s Electives category.
  • Students have the ability to choose a marketing communications focus - either a Public Relations focus or a Creative focus.
  • This program offers flexible registration and open-entry enrollment.
