CJ& 106 - Juvenile Justice 5 Credits This course provides an introduction to the American Juvenile Justice system with a focus on the laws, procedures, and agencies that administer juvenile justice. The course will also explore the historical evolution of the juvenile justice system and discuss constitutional safeguards and procedural protections for the accused. It will include study of: Washington State juvenile laws, juvenile court rules,investigative and interviewing guidelines, causation, treatment, control and prevention with regard to juvenile crime, and agency services.
