MUSC& 242 - Music Theory 5 5 Credits Intensive study of chromatic harmony, including the Neapolitan sixth chord, chords of the augmented sixth, the chord of the doubly-augmented fourth, altered chords and modulations to foreign keys. Analysis of the primary classical forms from simple binary and ternary part-forms to theme and variations, sonata form, first, second and third rondos, and the sonata-rondo.
