The Bookkeeping Certificate emphasizes practical skills in the accounting field.. Students completing the certificate are employable as AP, AR or payroll clerks for entry level positions.

Learning Outcomes
- Students will accurately analyze and record general accounting and payroll transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Students will accurate prepare financial reports using Quickbooks.
- Given a specific set of circumstances; students will analyze and apply the appropriate ethical standards.
Prerequisites
Some or all of the following are required. Check with a faculty adviser.
- Keyboarding and 10-key numeric pad skills.
- Consultation with an accounting faculty member

- Accounting degree and certificates are not intended for business majors planning to transfer to a four-year program.
