Introduction to Customer Service

Learning Outcomes


  • Students will demonstrate knowledge of service management and customer relations skills, including customer service levels, service delivery systems and evaluating customer satisfaction.
  • Students will correctly use components of Microsoft Office programs to create professional and academic documents. 
  • Demonstrate using the keyboard by touch, using correct fingering on letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • Accurately construct effective documents pertinent to a job search.

  • Students must achieve a cumulative 2.0 GPA and a minimum 2.0 GPA in each core course to attain a certificate.
  • Certificate programs emphasize preparation in specific job skills required for entry-level employment.

  • Minimum ESL level 4 or above recomended
  • GED or high school diploma not required, but recommended.
