LEGAL 103 - Civil Procedures II5 Credits Second of a two-course series (with LEGAL 102) covering motions, specific types of formal and informal discovery, settlements, dismissals, trial practice and procedure and post-trial practice and procedure. Special attention is paid to the civil rules of procedure for Washington and local rules.

Accurately describe the paralegal role in trial preparation, alternative dispute resolution, trial, post-trial motions and the appellate process.
