DSN 425 - Diversity and Inclusive Design5 Credits The new generation of diverse designers must identify and dismantle stereotypes that are pervasive in design and work toward an equitable and global design community. Designers ethically respond to the needs of people and the environment using a creative process based approach. Ideas should be implemented in a strategic manner and question the status quo. Students will analyze historical context and cultural significance of a design. Students will practice creating designs that are inclusive and represent principles of universal design and model accessibility.
