ENGR& 104 - Introduction to Design5 Credits Introduces design and communication principles using an engineering project approach. Stresses teamwork, design process, creative and analytical thinking, quantitative analysis, professionalism and ethics, social, economic and political context, and open-ended problems. Introduces the engineering design process by building group skills, understanding the effects of different learning styles, producing strategies for innovation, and fostering creativity in problem solving. Includes design projects, journal keeping, professionalism and ethical issues, and oral presentations.
