NRSG 139 - Health and Illness 3: Acute Care Management5 Credits A theory course to examine health and illness across the lifespan with focus on normal and abnormal pathophysiological alterations. Students will build on clinical judgment, informatics, and quality improvement with focus on priority nursing actions in delivering person-centered care. Concepts include nutrition, fluid and electrolyte imbalances, metabolism, oxygenation, perfusion, infection, inflammation, and elimination.
