NRSG 222 - Behavioral Health in Nursing 2: Psychiatric Disorders2 Credits This course examines many determinants of health across the lifespan including social, psychological, environmental, emotional, spiritual, and cultural factors. Students will focus on the management of psychological and social challenges that effect the ability of the patient to function within the community. Expanding upon principles of communication and assessment, the course will also include concepts such as anxiety, addiction, mood & effect, sensory perception, violence, and problematic behaviors.
