ABE 13 - ABE Integrated Skills 211 Credits To aid adults who need instruction in basic English and math skills. Instruction is delivered in a variety of formats including lecture, group activities, and individualized instruction. ABE Language Arts level 2 is equivalent to CASAS scores between 201 and 210.

Content will be delivered in lecture and group formats.

Identify the purpose and audience for communicating in writing.
Read, write, and interpret simple types of mathematical information.
Recall and use mathematical procedures such as basic estimating, counting, sorting, ordering, grouping, adding on (using counting or a calculator), and measuring length and weight using tools calibrated with whole numbers (rulers, manipulatives). Evaluate the degree of precision needed for the solution.
Communicate the solution to the problem orally, in role-plays, with pictures, or by entries on a simple chart.
