- Classification of stars (HR diagram, star clusters)
- Stellar evolution (fusion, red giants, supernovas, white dwarfs)
- Life in the Universe (extrasolar planets, SETI, Drake equation)
- Cosmology (Big Bang, cosmic background radiation)
