CJ 217 - Criminal Justice Communications5 Credits This class covers different types of communications, relevant to Criminal Justice professionals. Topics include in-person communication strategies for de-escalation, active listening, non-verbal communication, and regulating one’s own emotional response as well as report writing. Emphasis will be given to intercultural communication, communicating in crisis and trauma-informed care.
