ABE 23 - ESOL 1: Low Beginning

Designed for adults who may not be literate in any language and/or who have extremely limited proficiency in the English language. Integrates the instruction of listening, speaking, reading, writing and technology skills. ESOL 1 is equivalent to CASAS scores between 184-196.

Demonstrate ability to comprehend oral class content and follow simple instructions to complete tasks and meet classroom expectations.

Write 6+ original sentences on a topic covered in class using direct assistance, provided prompts, brainstorming, and organization strategies.
