Case Management, Certificate

Designed as an introduction to Human Services specifically tailored for people working in entry level positions in housing support industry (permanent supportive housing, day, overnight and 24/7 shelters), the purpose of this certificate in Case Management is to prepare frontline staff for opportunities to advance professionally as leaders and pursue a post-secondary education. This certificate is designed to acknowledge and respect the lived experience and professional responsibilities of the adult learner; invite learners to be producers of knowledge, research issues of interest and make policy recommendations; and build a transformational partnership between Highline College and the housing and homeless services sector centered around student success. Students who complete the certificate will have earned 33 credits which directly apply towards their AAS in Human Services.
